About Me
I grew up in Chillicothe, have been playing guitar for 32 years and have played in many bands in the Chillicothe area including: Defiance, Mad Jack, Alloy, Badd Basix, Epitaph, Glass Onion, Big Bang and The Rubes. I created this site to be a place for musicians and anyone into the Scioto Valley music scene to discuss the local music scene, check on local music events and keep up on local music news. About Me
My name is Chris Seymour. I'm a local bass player that has played around Chillicothe for around more than 20 yrs. My current projects are Grimstone which is a hard rock/heavy metal band that has been together since early 2005. And 3rd Degree which is an acoustic band that has been together since November 2008.
My main bass influences are Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), & the late Cliff Burton (Metallica). I also love Geddy Lee (Rush), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots), Ryan Martinie (Mudvayne), The list goes on. And I love the old school Motown & funk bass players.
