The Foothill Folk Society is starting its Second Annual Summer Concert Series on Sunday, April 25, at the Majestic Theater from noon – 9:00 pm. The concert kicks off with a drum session followed by stage performances beginning at 2:00 p.m. The public is invited to this free concert which showcases the talents of several local artists. Bring the family and enjoy the relaxing sounds of folk music, shop with vendors selling hand-crafted items and enjoy foods from local food vendors.

Sojourners is a Youth Development Organization serving the South Central and Southeastern regions of Ohio. We provide foster care and adoption services, a Transitional Living Progam to youth aging up from foster care, Youthbuild, a program that teaches youth construction and vocational skills and helps them attain their educational goals, Street OUtreach, a program devoted to serving runaway and homeless youth.
Earth Gathering is an art festival with an Earth Day theme, held on the lawn of the Pump House Center for the Arts in Chillicothe, Ohio on the 3rd Saturday in April (11 a.m.-7 p.m.). This free event features Earth-friendly art, music, food, products and ideas. Now an official CHILLICOTHE ART LEAGUE juried invitational art festival, event profits go toward the CAL student scholarship fund awarded to deserving Ross County students seeking degrees in art or art education. The Chillicothe Art League is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, therefore making the Earth Gathering a non-partisan event. All participants including artists, musicians, organizations must reside within a 100-mile radius of Chillicothe. We are thinking globally but acting locally!
